March 3...Maria reporting...
We are playing the 303 Cafe in East Boston on Saturday, March 13th... Great food, beer, wine, fine coffee and excellent service in the heart of East Boston. This cafe was also designed to be a showcase for local artists whether painter, sculptor, poet, musician, etc. Part of The 303 Cafe's purpose is to unite the various entities of artists as well as incorporate events with local community groups...Come and join us for a fun evening at this new venue!

Whatcha doin on Tuesday nights?...We are hosting an Acoustic Club (aka Acoustic open mic but better ....weather permitting) at The Club Caravan in Revere on Rte. 1A. Bring your instrument or singing voice of choice and your ability to entertain. No cover and no full kits. There is plenty of on-site parking. The club is booking weekend slots and this is a great way to get your act in the running for one. Let’s create something we can be proud of and build on. Sign-up at about 8:00 p.m. and we will go until every voice is heard. No need to RSVP just SHOWUP. Performers of good music and listeners alike are welcome. Full PA and accompanists will be there. The only thing missing is you.
And....
Please stop by and say hi and check out the wonderful artists in the North Shore.

Maria Lena & Gerry Stafford (aka “Max Ex”) (Acoustic Duo)
www.myspace.com/acousticmaxex www.acousticmaxex.com 781-864-4430
This incredible duo plays those rare songs that people love to hear, such as that Classic Legend, “Thick as a Brick”. Everywhere they perform they bring excitement and electricity to the stage. Gerry Stafford is a master and a teacher of many different kinds of Guitars, Mandolin, Keys. His vocals have the charm and accent of the English speaking Bard. His partner Maria Souza plays Flute, Autoharp, and also a little Keyboard, Tambourine, Shakers, etc... “anything that makes noise”... And her rich vocals vibrate with mystery.
Both presently living in Medford, Gerry is from the band "Ste. Gerard", formerly "GSB." Maria is formerly from "Synthesis" and "Full Moon" and a few acoustic duos here and there. Together now, they are collaborating and creating something very special, doing Acoustic Classic, Progressive, & Original Rock, playing to perfection those mysterious kinds of 70’s songs that only the most progressive radio stations would dare to play after the midnight hours, to that special brand of rebel seeking the deeper meanings of life and living.
